Hey Anup... grew up watching Padukone win the All England and played a lot of badminton myself in India as a kid. I haven't really been able to follow the sport since moving to the US a couple of decades ago. I was searching for the Indian badminton stars and saw your name and then discovered this blog. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck for the Olympics. When Padukone won the All England he was not the favorite and when India won the cricket world cup under Kapil Dev they were not favorites. Have absolute confidence in yourself and the conviction that you can pull this off! I will be supporting you from the U.S. and hopefully will find some coverage on TV here.
I hope the Portuguese tv wont let me miss your future performances after Vasconcelos. It’s great to see you playing and I am looking forward to see you with the golden medal. Everything best.
